Yorke Peninsula camping guide

We spent 7 nights camping around the Yorke Peninsula over the summer, with less than perfect conditions but that didn’t stop us from having an incredible time exploring Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, beach after beach, beautiful camping, swimming, fishing and hiking.

Shell Beach $25.00 per night | Composting toilet | Beach access | walking trails | Swimming |
Daly Head Bush Camp $20.00 council permit | Composting toilet | Beach access | walking trails | Surfing |
Adams Camp $20.00 | Composting toilet | Beach access | Scenic views | Swimming |

Fishing, boating, surfing, swimming, camping, bushwalking and wildlife; there's so much to see and do along kilometres of pristine coast on the Yorke Peninsula. Just over an hour’s drive away from Adelaide. We spent our time beach hopping, squidding, visiting small towns, and sampling beers at Watsacowie Brewery. From the Yorke Peninsular, we caught the ferry from Wallaroo to Lucky Bay, to start our travels around the Eyre Peninsular. There are two ferries that depart every day for $188.00 for 1 adult and vehicle, which we estimated to be cheaper than driving around the Spencer Gulf and saved us roughly 4 hours of driving.
