Gibb River Road - Part 2
After three relaxing days at Manning Gorge, we set off on the short drive to Hann River (free camp) stopping at Barnett River Gorge. If you are wanting to visit Barnett River Gorge make sure you are following WikiCamp as it is not signed. It is a short walk to the gorge and be prepared to get lost as there are no signs or visible tracks. The only markers to stay on the path are rock piles.

Though we were also not keen on driving long hours, so we decided that we would break up the drive into 3 or 4 days. We probably averaged about 3 hours of traveling per day, therefore, not to rush in the mornings and still have plenty of light when we got into camp at the end of the day.

Our NT Adventure - Part 1
We arrived in sunny warm Darwin from Perth in the afternoon and were instantly greeted by the laid back, relaxed vibe and warm tropical weather. We arrived at our hotel on the outskirts of the city and headed straight to the waterfront for a drink and something to eat. We were recommended Chow, which did not disappoint.
